It was another solid year for the CLC team as results for the transportation industry continued to improve. Trailer demand remained strong as providers increased trailer capacity to deal with changes in hours of service, an increasingly tight driver market and rising freight volumes.

In 2017, CLC achieved several significant accomplishments. We completed a full upgrade of our ERP system and CRM. Mid-year, we hired Brent Russell as our EVP. Brent is a seasoned veteran and has brought onboard a team of high level National Sales Managers to drive growth and expand our footprint. In Q3, we were awarded the largest transaction in the history of our company with a global packaging company. Finally, we added several key positions to support ongoing growth.

CLC is now in its second full year as an employee owned enterprise (ESOP) and we look forward to continuing to build value for our stakeholders. We fulfilled our commitment of building and delivering 100 new bicycles to children in need during the holiday season and we hope to add others.

Q1 of 2018 is exhibiting favorable market conditions for CLC’s continued growth. With our added capabilities, we hope to capitalize on opportunities and strengthen our overall business model.
