Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Contract Leasing Corp (CLC)
Purpose:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving Contract Leasing Corp’s growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers and creating new business opportunities. As the first point of contact, the SDR will focus on generating and nurturing leads, building CLC’s pipeline, and supporting our outside sales team in meeting ambitious sales goals. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach to ensure our clients’ unique needs are met.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Outreach:
- Research and identify potential customers within target areas.
- Use CRM, LinkedIn, and other sales tools to create targeted lists and conduct personalized outreach.
- Make outbound calls, send emails, and follow up with prospects to initiate conversations.
- Qualify Leads:
- Engage with prospects to understand their fleet needs, pain points, and decision-making criteria.
- Qualify and segment leads based on potential and readiness to buy, passing on high-potential leads to the sales team.
- Pipeline Development:
- Track and update all prospect interactions and lead progress in CRM, maintaining accurate and organized records.
- Schedule appointments and manage follow-ups to keep prospects engaged.
- Collaborate with Sales Team:
- Work closely with the outside sales team to develop strategies that lead conversions and help reach monthly and quarterly targets.
- Share insights and feedback from prospects to refine outreach efforts.
- Market and Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on CLC’s leasing solutions, competitors, and market trends.
- Educate prospects on CLC’s product offerings, including flexible lease programs, industry-leading customer support, and customizable solutions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor personal and team performance metrics to improve outreach effectiveness.
- Actively participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and refine sales techniques.
Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar outbound role.
- Experience in logistics, leasing, or fleet management preferred but not required.

- Proficiency in CRM software and lead management.
- Ability to research and identify high-potential prospects.
